SCHORS BEGINS PLANNING PROCESS

On May 6, 2008 the Strategic Planning Committee was formed in Schors district, Chernihiv Region in order to prepare the economic development strategy for the local community.
Representatives of the local government, businesses and the non-profit non-governmental sector are involved in the planning process. The work will begin with the local economy assessment, after which the goals and the ways to achieve them will be defined.
The strategy will be prepared with the support of the USAID Local Economic Development Project in cooperation with ChernihivInvest Agency.
